Free Shipping Offer

Free Shipping applies to orders $99.99 and above. Free shipping only applies to addresses in the continental USA and includes standard USPS services. Applicable orders will ship USPS First Class or USPS Priority based on weight-default is USPS First Class. Offer is not retroactive. Rugged Circuits LLC retains the right to offer Free Shipping at its discretion.

We only ship to the USA and Canada.

We generally ship all orders within 1 business day or less. All shipping is FOB shipping point (Grand Rapids, Michigan). Orders will ship Monday-Friday. For shipments to Canada, the buyer is responsible for paying all customs, duties, taxes, tariffs, and other fees necessary to take possession of the shipment. Please do not ask us to prepare false customs forms or mark shipments as gifts -- we will not do so under any circumstances.

We offer the following UPS and USPS shipping options.

Expedited Shipping -- Restrictions

Orders must be received before 12:00 pm EST in order to ship the same day via an expedited shipping option.  All orders after this cut-off time will ship the next day with the selected shipping method.  We do not offer refunds for expedited shipping service or guarantee delivery times-these are handled by the courier.  Any and all claims will be handled by the customer directly with the courier. Currently couriers are experiencing delays and are not offering money back guarantees on Next-Day deliveries.  Pricing is calculated during the checkout using UPS and USPS shipping calculations. Overnight orders will not be delivered over the weekend unless special arrangements can be made for Saturday delivery. Contact us for details.

UPS -- Domestic

UPS provides excellent tracking and status information. With UPS you also have guaranteed expedited options: second-day and next-day delivery. We understand that if you select one of these options then time is of the essence and we will give your order shipping priority.

We do not ship UPS to Canada.

USPS Priority Mail -- Domestic

Priority mail provides a good tradeoff between speed of delivery and tracking information within the USA. Shipments generally arrive within 1-3 days within the continental USA. Tracking information is provided right up to the point of delivery.

USPS Priority Express Mail -- Domestic

This is the least expensive way to get your order as quickly as possible. Priority Express mail is intended to arrive the next day, but be warned, in our experience USPS only achieves this kind of speed about 90% of the time. Order with Priority Express as the shipping method will be given shipping priority and will usually ship the same day as ordered.

USPS Express Mail -- Canada

For shipping to Canada, this is a good trade-off between the speed and trackability of UPS packages and the lower cost of USPS mail. Express Mail International provides tracking information right up to the point of delivery and quotes 3-5 day delivery times. Note, however, that once the package arrives in Canada it must still clear customs and be processed by Canada Post, and there’s nothing we can do about that! However, Express Mail International has expedited brokerage thus should clear customs faster than other USPS shipping options.

USPS Priority Mail -- Canada

This is a lower-cost shipping method for shipments to Canada. Transit time is 6-10 business days (so really about 2 weeks of “real time”) to Canada. Note, however, that once the package arrives in Canada it must still clear customs and be processed by Canada Post, and there’s nothing we can do about that!

Tracking information is only available while the package is in the USA. You won’t see any more updates after this point. Sometimes, the USPS won’t even provide tracking information within the USA and you will only see the cryptic message “Electronic shipping information received” indicating we printed a postage label, then nothing until your package happily arrives at your door several days later. Because of this, this shipping method is “at your own risk”. If the package does not arrive, there’s not much we can do beyond file a claim with the USPS and hope for the best.

USPS First-Class Mail -- Domestic

This is the least-expensive shipping option and is generally the best option if you are not in a hurry. While there are no service guarantees we find that packages arrive within 2-5 days. Tracking information is provided right up to the point of delivery.

Most of our domestic orders ship by First-Class Mail and it works just fine 99.9% of the time.

USPS First-Class Mail -- Canada

This is the least-expensive shipping option for Canada but can also be the slowest. As with USPS Priority Mail International, there is no tracking information provided once the package leaves the USA, and sometimes not even before that. Also note that once the package arrives in Canada it must still clear customs and be processed by Canada Post, and there’s nothing we can do about that!
